  • Is the Power Bank compatible with my FarmDroid robot?

    Yes, our Power Bank is compatible with all FarmDroid FD20 models.

  • Can the Power Bank charge in low sunlight or cloudy conditions?

    Yes, the solar panels continuously charge the batteries, even in low light conditions. However, in some locations, this may be challenging. The Power Bank can charge at a maximum rate of 1.6 kW per hour, while the battery pack has a capacity of 6 kWh. If sunlight is extremely limited and the Power Bank charges as low as 100 W per hour, charging this way becomes inefficient due to the long duration required. In such cases, it is more effective to charge the batteries overnight at home.

  • How long does it take to fully recharge the Power Bank?

    It takes approximately 10-12 hours to charge the Power Bank with its dedicated charger.

  • How many hours can the robot drive with a full Power Bank?

    During prolonged periods of poor weather, when there is not enough sunlight to power your FarmDroid, the Power Bank will provide extra energy. A fully charged Power Bank can provide up to 12 hours of additional operation.

  • How do I install the Power Bank to my FarmDroid robot?

    If you purchase your FarmDroid with the Power Bank addition, it will arrive pre-installed on your robot. If you order the Power Bank separately at a later time, we provide a detailed manual with step-by-step instructions for mounting and connecting it to your robot.
